Dolphin 2 is a rewrite of the underlying icon view code in order to
drastrically improve performance and fix a number of visual bugs and
limitations.  However, this means rewriting a lot of code, so it will
take time for all the features to be re-implemented.  All the old
features will be back, they just aren't yet.

This is the problem with using the unstable version of KDE, you get
unstable and unfinished code.  It should be finished by the 4.8
release last I heard, but untill it is finished it will lack some
features.
