Hello, Summary -------------
I'm asking for a little assistance with the transition process. I have been in the process of converting my existing project into a KDE app. It's a game construction kit like the ones you would find in the old days of the commodore 64. The projet home page will give you a summary and additional information. http://www.sassociations.net/cfrankb/lgck Source --------- I have uploaded a copy of source here on SourceForge and create CMakeFile.txt based on those used by most KDE Games http://sourceforge.net/projects/lgck/files/Lgck_Builder/0.5.0.8/ Issues ---------- 1) The application compiles but I run into the following errors libpng warning: Application was compiled with png.h from libpng-1.4.4 libpng warning: Application is running with png.c from libpng-1.2.44 libpng error: Incompatible libpng version in application and library 2) I have been trying to get a KDE account for months to move this project into playground so I can get feedback and advice on how to smooth the transition. PS: I'm not a newbie. I have many years programming experience behind me but a little coaching and/or mentoring with this seems to be what is needed right now as this is a whole new ballgame for me. If anyone can help with either issue that would be most appreciated. Regards, Frank B. >> Visit http://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-devel#unsub to unsubscribe <<
