Hello folks,
I've been using multiseat with GDM for a long time now but it becomes much more
difficult to maintain an older GDM on a new distro to use this. Then I found
this page which suggested that KDM can be used instead of GDM:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MultiseatX

I've taken a quick look at kdmrc file and it looks like all the seats have to
be
configured before hand. I'm looking for something that will act like the
gdmdynamic command, i.e. to be able to create login screen on the fly by
specifying the necessary parameters.

Currently I use this dynamic command to add a new display when an USB docking
station (with video) is plugged in. udev takes care of grouping vide, keyboard,
mouse and sound devices for the given seat. I also use gdmdynamic to start Xnvc
for admin logins.

So is there any way to be able to start/stop login displays with KDM on demand
or everything needs to be configured in kdmrc before KDM is started?

Regards,
Alexander.
