Ok, I'm going to have a good crack at getting a test case for myself at-least, I found routing an-hoc wifi was easier with iwconfig &co. than neworkmanager... hmm.. but at least this mean my partner can have the laptop hooked up the internet and music on this box and I'm free to use this box for testing etc....
