Dear KDE community,

I would like to draw your attention to the brand-new sister conference of
re:publica that will take place this fall in Berlin for the first time.
Fortunately, it is right after the Qt conference in Berlin, on November 15 and
16, so you will be in the city anyway. Have a look: http://open-strategies.de

The conference will be in a mix of German and English. The audience will be
free thinkers, open sourcy folks, and thinkers and decision makers from
industry and politics. There are two tracks that I think are particularly
interesting for our community - the track on open innovation, and the track on
open business. I am on the program committee and the curator of the open
business track.

I think this is a great opportunity to spread our ideas of openness and
collaboration beyond our usual audience (aka "preaching to the choir"). Please
consider taking part or presenting at the conference. If you have any
questions, hesitations or whatnot, feel free to contact me.

All the best,

Mirko.
