I can reproduce this if zooming in has been used on that file at all - once
zooming has been used (even if the document was manually zoomed back to 100%),
font changes are not seen in the document until I go to View > Reset Font Size.
Are you able to reproduce this from a freshly opened KWrite/Kate window that
has had no zooming applied to it at all, or only once zooming has been used at
least once? (To narrow down the scope of the bug)
