Bug ID: 496630 Summary: Option: Alt-Shift to reverse in Alt-Tab Task Switcher Classification: I don't know Product: kde Version: unspecified Platform: Ubuntu OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org Reporter: kenya...@evavoyance.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 176077 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=176077&action=edit view of options Normally, to switch windows, we use Alt Tab and Alt Shift Tab. AltTab on Mac has an unusual default feature: when the Task Switcher window is already up (by pressing Alt-Tab and holding down Alt), pressing Shift will move backward one window. This is very discoverable: to switch to the previous window, the user holds Alt down, then presses Shift then Tab. The outcome happens on Shift, rather than on Tab. So the window choice moves backward sooner than the user expects, but the outcome is the same as desired. This behavior isn't expressible with the current System Settings, attached. (Alt-Shift should only be an active shortcut when the Task Switcher is already up.) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
