Hey there Denis,
I'm the one managing Krita on Steam over the last ~6 years, but I'm not sure
exactly what can be done on our end with regard to automatically supporting
Windows File Explorer KRA thumbnail previews.
There is an extension for the Windows File Explorer that adds support for this
(https://github.com/alvinhochun/KritaShellExtension), but I don't know if/how
we could automatically install this extension via Steam. It may be possible, I
just don't know right now.
As such I can only recommend that you manually install the extension yourself,
but we will keep this bug open as a wishlist item for future reference, and if
we figure out that it can be done then we will certainly try it out in the
future.
