Bug ID: 496001 Summary: Using a title from a kdenlivetitle file with integrated images creates nonsensical dependencies to files in ~/titles Classification: Applications Product: kdenlive Version: git-master Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Title Clips & Subtitles Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: contact+bugs+...@yannsalmon.fr Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY If a project contains a title which was added from a .kdenlivetitle file with integrated images, the project file contains a dependency to an image file which is generated in $HOME/titles. This means that despite the "integrated images" feature being aimed at allowing sharing, it is not possible to share a project that contains such a title. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create a title with an image. 2. Save it to a kdenlivetitle file with Integrated images. 3. Create a new project. 4. Add a new title. 5. Open the kdenlivetitle file in the title editor. 6. Save project. 7. Open project file with a text editor. OBSERVED RESULT Project file refers a .titlepart file located (by default) in $HOME/titles. This file is the image file that was added to the title originally. Removing this file and opening the project in kdenlive leads to the "source missing" dialog. EXPECTED RESULT Project file should either contain the image data and not depend on a file which is on the file system, or refer the kdenlivetitle file which contains this data.
