I'm also experiencing this bug.
Running Krita 3.0.94 directly from the appimage.
Looking over synaptic, currently installed version of QT is QT4
"4:4.8.7+dfsg-5ubuntu2", which tells me that it's probably 4.8?
Running Linux Mint's Cinnamon interface over an existing Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
intallation.
