I upgraded Neon from 22.04 to 24.04 and I'm also seeing this. On upgrade and
restart presented with just black on login, krunner etc. worked. Trying to
start plasmashell from konsole gave:

I removed the webbrowser widgets from the config file and it wokred properly.
Starting
"plasmawindowed org.kde.plasma.webbrowser"
In krunner does nothing. Running from konsole gives:
plasmawindowed org.kde.plasma.webbrowser
QtWebEngineQuick::initialize() must be called from the Qt gui thread.
Aborted (core dumped)
I'll see can I get coredumpctl to work...
