I would expect the bug to be that discover isn't waiting for a response to the authentication prompt before asking to reboot (which would be a regression). It's unfortunate that this wasn't picked up during Fedora 41 Upgrade Test Days, but I suppose that's because the bug was introduced in 6.2.0 which landed in F40 after the test days date.
