Thank you for your feedback. If you install Kdenlive “Install just for me”,
then it installs Kdenlive just on your user account and it cannot run properly.
Unfortunately, we cannot change the installer itself so it gives always these 2
choices.

Hope it works now and you can start editing.

I closed this bug. If it still appears in the latest version, please feel free
to re-open it and update the affected version number.
