For almost 2 years, I have come to terms with using an older Tellico version
(3.2.3). After upgrading from Ubuntu Mate 22.04 to 24.04 and another from
Debian Mate 11 to 12, I have now noticed that the problem persists even with
Tellico versions 3.5.3 (Ubuntu) and 3.4.6 (Debian). When importing data, all
letters with special characters are eliminated; when writing new data records
or correcting existing ones, they are accepted.
