Okay, that definitely sounds like the screen and/or GPU driver are doing funny
things. It doesn't affect KWin directly, because it has a workaround for
screens that do such nonsense
(https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kwin/-/merge_requests/2940) but the device
notifier doesn't have that.
