I can confirm this on openSUSE LEAP 42.2, too.

there are alos screenshots attached.
This problem makes KMail pretty much unusable with high DPI. Not only is the
font too smal, but also the mouseclicks don't end up correctly. It's hard to
show in a picture, but should be pretty easy to reproduce.
