Not to sow any confusion, but the same bug happened to me (trying to load a
project previously saved in 24.08.1 using 24.08.2).
Kdenlive would crash at "Building Sequences...".
The problem persisted after a reboot, however I didn't try Gerry Gavigan's
workaround.
Interestingly, this all happened yesterday (21.10.2024), but today the problem
magically disappeared; the project opened fine on the first attempt.
