I also agree the best way to find the photo is with a filter. Digikam has very
powerful search capabilities, which is the better option. Renaming the photo
based on the names could lead to many files in the same folder with the same
name with just a number attached. For example, when I'm shooting portraits,
it's not uncommon for me to take over 100 images of the same person. This
means the images would all be name person-0001 or person-0127 depending on the
person's name.
