            Bug ID: 494620
Summary: Feature Request - Add a few formatting tools to the
                    Tag manager for bulk operations

           Product: digikam

          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR

SUMMARY
It would be helpful to have some simple tools in the Tag managed to permit
things like altering case (i.e. to Mixed case, or all upper, or lower, or
perhaps a bulk modify via a separate section allowing the removal or addition
of a # or an _ for a tag first character. Very typical to see huge number of
tags imported that arent consistent. It may not matter for a search, but it is
difficult to categorize/reorganize if you prefer to standardize your tag
format, where sorting will put _at the top of the list, # in the next grouping
etc. With hundreds or thousands of tags to merge, its difficult to do this
manually.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Sorry if feature requests go elsewhere. The docs I could find online suggested
to use bugtrack, but that may have changed...
