chaos_prevails <c3...@mail77.eu> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution|FIXED |--- Status|RESOLVED |REOPENED --- Comment #10 from chaos_prevails <c3...@mail77.eu> --- Hello, this bug is still there with latest 24.10 Ubuntu (wayland) and opensuse tumbleweed (x11) - both tested today - using KDE plasma 6.2.0 KDE framework 6.6.0 Qt 6.7.3 kernel 6.11.2-1 I am not sure this bug is similar to the issue Gerry Agbobada reported here and I do not think it is resolved as mentioned by Nate Graham. As soon as US qwerty Intl with dead keys as keyboard layout is set, the tasks switcher shortcut alt+` stops working. I think this keyboard shortcut is central, as many users will have multiple e.g. documents, pdfs or browser windows open and would like to switch between them even on a dead key keyboard. The workaround to type with a keyboard layout with dead keys and use the shortcut "Alt+`" at the same time is to: 1) set a "non dead key" keyboard layout as the first layout 2) add the US intl dead key layout as subsequent keyboard layout 3) select the US intl dead key layout through the "keyboard layout" notification icon as the keyboard layout to be used. While there is a workaround, I think this is still a bug. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
