The main translation seems to be fully done:
https://l10n.kde.org/stats/gui/trunk-kf5/po/gcompris_qt.po/
However, there are some activities that have files that can be translated and
are not displayed in this translation status (if you played lang or hangman for
example, it was probably not in Ukrainian).
There are 2 missing files:

-> it misses a content-uk.json. You can copy content-en.json and translate
words. If you need a context, the words are associated to the images in
http://gcompris.net/incoming/lang/lang/words/. These words are used in hangman
and lang activities for example.

In questions, it's all the letters you'll have to find and in answers all the
displayed answers (so it's "questions" + some other letters).
The easier to do it would be either a pull request on github if you have an
account or a review request in https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/dashboard/.
In all cases, don't hesitate to ask if you don't fully understand what it is
about or if you have a doubt.
If you want to test, you'll need to compile gcompris (there are some
instructions in
http://gcompris.net/wiki/Qt_Quick_development_process#Compilation). If you
don't manage to do it, you can ask, we'll help you.
As the first file is quite big, if you think you won't have time to do it all,
you can only translate the same words as the one in the english file.
