                    not apply transparency in 6.1.90

           Product: plasmashell
           Version: 6.1.90
          Platform: Fedora RPMs

Screenshot shows how the panel looks like with 'Translucent' Opacity Setting.

SUMMARY
When going into Panel Settings and switching the Opacity of the panel to
'Adaptive' or 'Translucent', it remains opaque.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Panel Settings
2. Set Opacity to 'Translucent'
3. Observe the panel's transparency.

OBSERVED RESULT
No change in opacity.

EXPECTED RESULT
A change in opacity. A slightly transparent panel.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: Fedora Kinoite 41.20241007.n.0 [41 Beta]
KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.90
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.6.0
Qt Version: 6.7.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
My panel is a floating panel with 'Dodge Windows'. There are a few external
Plasma addons: Kara, PlasMusic Toolbar, and Window Title, but they all are
actively maintained and support Plasma 6. I created a secondary empty panel to
test whether the addons are affecting it but I still see the same issue.
