--- Comment #6 from Charlie <noprisonmental...@mcguires.com.au> ---
Hey Urs

I'm not understanding this.  I right click on the file, run, nothing
happens.  The file permissions are set correctly to run as executable
(application/x-executable).  I can also install and run Version 3.9.6.
without any problems.

I then try to run the file in terminal and get this response;

*/charlie@Lappy:~/Downloads/kid3-git20240929-Linux$ ./kid3-qt
qt.qpa.plugin: From 6.5.0, xcb-cursor0 or libxcb-cursor0 is needed to
load the Qt xcb platform plugin.
qt.qpa.plugin: Could not load the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in "" even
though it was found.
This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be
initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Available platform plugins are: wayland, xcb, wayland-egl.

Aborted (core dumped)/*

Clearly I must be missing something.

Any suggestions?

Cheers

Charlie
