Bug ID: 493643 Summary: Cannot change connection name for imported WireGuard VPN Classification: Applications Product: systemsettings Version: 6.1.90 Platform: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: kcm_networkmanagement Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: servi...@alternateved.com CC: jgrul...@redhat.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 174073 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=174073&action=edit Changed name in input box yet cannot apply changes STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open system settings and enter Wi-Fi & Internet tab. 2. Add new connection and use option "Import VPN connection..." from "Other" category. 3. Try to change connection's name and click "Apply" button. OBSERVED RESULT Connection is imported successfully and VPN is working fine, but when I try to change connection's name, "Apply" button stays greyed out. This doesn't happen for every connection (I can change name for some of them), but for this particular source (Mullvad VPN), I cannot change the name. I need to manually run `nmcli connection modify <conn> con-name <new-name>` . It's as if something doesn't see that the name was changed in input box and blocks "Apply" button (it stays greyed out). EXPECTED RESULT Connection can be successfully renamed.
