I'm also affected by this. I'm on Fedora 40 so Snaps are not enabled by
default. I installed support for them using Discover, however, after rebooting
the system, the Snap backend cannot be enabled on the UI (it's available but
grayed out), even though both plasma-discover-snap and snapd are installed.
