            Bug ID: 493386
Summary: clipboard history window leaks input to previously
                    focused application
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: 6.1.5
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Clipboard
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: descartav...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: 1.0

SUMMARY
Often, when using the clipboard history, invoked via keyboard shortcut, the
inputs it receive (and processes) will also show up on the previous selected
application (now behind the clipboard history window), cause major havoc.

I've noticed this happen on QT applications (e.g. dolphin), GTK (e.g. firefox),
X (e.g. xterm).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. while working on an application (e.g. vim, under Xterm, under plasmasession)
2. press the klipper shortcut for history (default meta+v)
3. press up/down to select the entry and Return to select it.

OBSERVED RESULT
the up/down/Return keys where passed to the previously focused application!

EXPECTED RESULT
Nothing to have changed on the application under the history window.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.6.0
Qt Version: 6.7.2
Kernel Version: 6.10.10-arch1-1 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 12 × AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 6650U with Radeon Graphics

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Happens on two system. One have default KDE upstream settings. Another have
focus-follow-mouse (medium focus stealing prevention)

It usually happens a couple times early in the session. And the stops. Haven't
noticed it return after stopping. No clue on root cause. Tried all sorts of
carefully windows focus control. Clicking the clipboard history before key
presses, etc. Nothing changes. But I also cannot say what triggers it to stop
happening.
