Bug ID: 493172 Summary: The way to remove a font from a group is unintuitive Classification: Applications Product: systemsettings Version: master Platform: Arch Linux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: kcm_fontinst Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: m...@kisaragi-hiu.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY When using custom font groups, it's not clear how you might remove a font from a custom group. Right click doesn't work, and dragging only works if you already know that dragging to "all" is supposed to mean "remove from current group". A previous version of this bug report was "there is no way to remove a font from a group" and I only learned how to do so while testing for this bug report. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Make sure there is a custom group 2. Drag a font or two into the new group 3. Go into the new group 4. There is no clear way to remove the font from the group. OBSERVED RESULT There is no clear way to remove a font from a group. EXPECTED RESULT There is a clear way to remove a font from a group. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.7.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 Kernel Version: 6.6.51-1-lts (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 12 × AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor Memory: 15.6 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 460 Graphics ADDITIONAL INFORMATION One rudimentary fix is to make dragging a font into the empty part of the group list or other builtin groups (where it currently does nothing) remove the font from the group instead. This has the problem of relying on drag-and-drop, but adding fonts to a group already require drag-and-drop right now. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
