SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Download a gif file;
2. Right on the file in dolphin, set it as wallpaper and lock screen;
3. run watch -n 1 nvidia-smi in terminal

OBSERVED RESULT
The vram usage of /usr/bin/plasmashell keeps increasing, and won't stop until I
change to a static wallpaper or logout


EXPECTED RESULT
The vram usage should be lower, at least not take all of my vram.

I am not sure if this is reproducible on amd or intel gpu.
