            Bug ID: 492583
Summary: Enabled file indexing causes huge slow down when
                    opening Dolphin
    Classification: Frameworks and Libraries
           Product: frameworks-baloo
           Version: 6.5.0
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: major
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Baloo File Daemon
          Assignee: baloo-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: etfa...@bestmail.ws
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
While file indexing is enabled, Dolphin will freeze for 5-10 seconds when
started.
I have smb shares / network drives added to my "remote places panel" but I
don't think that this has anything to do with it as I am not logged into any of
those shares when initially opening doplhin. Also the issue persists even after
logging into the remote drives.
Disabling file indexing instantly fixes the issue.

Indexing:
/home/username

Not indexing:
/mnt
/run/media
/run/mount
/run/sambda

Indexing size: 1,7GB

System:
AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 6850U 16x 4,8GHz
32GB RAM
Solidigm P44 Pro NVME (6.000mbit/s read/write)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Enable File indexer
2. Open Dolphin

OBSERVED RESULT
Dolphin freezing

EXPECTED RESULT
Dolphin shouldn't freeze
