It is definitely a problem from today's perspective, when most other IDEs have
changed to running their code analyzers out-of-process. KDevelop historically
didn't and still doesn't do this and it is unfortunately not easy to do
anything about it either.
AFAIK clang has some thread-based crash recovery but it doesn't cover every
situation.
