This issue just started happening to me in plasma 6.1.3 on fedora 40. The app
launches fine the first time, but then gets stuck as a ghost process in the
background. Manually killing the ghost process lets me reopen discover, but I
have to do this every time. This seems to be a result of the same (or a very
similar) problem with the backends, since running
> plasma-discover --backends packagekit-backend
or
> plasma-discover --backends flatpak-backend
makes the app behave and exit normally.
