            Bug ID: 490233
Summary: Using "tnum" glyphs in digital clock [wishlist,
                    typographic finetuning]
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: master
          Platform: Neon
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Digital Clock
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: jonathan.goeh...@gmx.de
  Target Milestone: 1.0

In the moment, the digital clock flickers during refreshing (if you don't use a
monospace font), because numbers usually have different widths (good in
continuous text).
Modern fonts include a alternative set of number glyphs: "tabular numbers",
that are of fixed width – specifically for this case. (For example:
https://rsms.me/inter/#features … search for "tnum".)

-> Fonts including "tnum" glyphs should use those in the digital clock
widget/applet.
