Note: The How_to_create_useful_crash_reports says it doesn't apply to Macs, so
I'm unable to attach a backtrace.
SUMMARY
digikam freezes when I click the "metadata" button on the right
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open digikam
2. Click on metadata
OBSERVED RESULT
The program freezes
EXPECTED RESULT
It shows me the metadata page
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
macOS: Sonoma 14.5
Chip: Apple Mx Max
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I am able to click the Properties and Colors tabs on the right, but if I click
"Metadata" it freezes. Also, clicking the "Thumbnails" tab at the top causes it
to freeze too. At the bottom it says "No active process". My guess is this bug
report isn't particularly helpful, so let me know what other information I can
add.
