A video showing plasmashell constantly freezing
SUMMARY
Recently, Plasmashell has started constantly freezing, usually triggered when
interacting with a panel or the desktop. It seems using any sort of desktop
effect like Overview or bringing up a panel on another screen unfreezes it...
until it freezes again in a few seconds.
This only occurs on the Wayland session. It works fine on the X11 session.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Interact with any widgets on a panel (not required but triggers it faster)
OBSERVED RESULT
The plasmashell process freezes.
EXPECTED RESULT
I would expect plasmashell to not freeze.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: CachyOS Linux
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.1
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.3.0
Qt Version: 6.7.2
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This started a few days before the release of Plasma 6.1.1, so it seems 6.1
didn't directly start this issue.
