I understand that there are concerns over the security of such a featureset. But one person's exploitable feature is another person's "this is how I type". My first comment here may have been an attempt to destroy a colossal bike shed (which you guys are doing an outstanding job of dismantling, and I thank you!!!!!), but the reason I went looking for this feature is my hands don't work right, and some a11y tools I use, employ OSC52 as an interface to the terminal. Adding half of this featureset is a great start and better than 7 years of to and fro, but it won't actually provide any improvement to the problem at hand....
