                    stopped and restarted
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: xdg-desktop-portal-kde
           Version: 6.1.1
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: ruinairas1...@gmail.com
                CC: aleix...@kde.org, jgrul...@redhat.com, n...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
Regular use of screencasting utterly fails on KDE for some reason. It seems as
though when you stop casting your screen the app continues to think that it's
still being casted.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use Discord, Webcord, Vencord, Guilded, Element, it really doesn't matter
2. Start screensharing and stop after a few moments
3. Notice how you if you attempt to try screensharing again it fails silently.

OBSERVED RESULT
Attempting to screencast fails.

EXPECTED RESULT
Being able to screencast at any moment when I need to.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: EndeavourOS
KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.1
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.3.0
Qt Version: 6.7.2
Kernel Version: 6.9.7-arch1-1 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 32 × AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor
Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
If you are using the regular Discord client you will need to force the use of
x11. However, if you do this you will have issues where the xvideo bridge will
crash if you try recording a game window instead of the fullscreen.
