            Bug ID: 372267
Summary: A way to bulk edit torrent announcers
           Product: ktorrent
           Version: 4.3.1
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: joris.guis...@gmail.com
          Reporter: trufano...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

There is a way to add new torrent tracker or disable\enable existing one in
KTorrent. But this can't be made for several torrents at once.

Usecase is following.
Sometimes torrent trackers have to change their domain name. Especially if they
are forced to do this by legal problems. And then they ask users to change
announcers in torrents they seed to something new keeping passkey value. Like
"please change our announcer http://olddomain.us?annonce.php?uid=passkey"; to
http://newdomain.us?annonce.php?uid=passkey in all torrents you seed or
redownload them". It's pretty annoying to make these changes manually if you
have a lot of torrents seeding.

uTorrent has GUI features that let user make such changes for all torrents per
once. You just need to add tracker column to the list of torrents, sort by this
column, multiselect right torrents and then edit tracker value.
And nothing like that in KTorrent. So user forced to pay with bash and regexps
to edit KTorrent files.

Would be great if such functionality will be added in fueature versions.
