Bug ID: 488886 Summary: Dark color schemes make music library entries (and other GUI elements) in Configure difficult/impossible to read Classification: Applications Product: Elisa Version: 24.05.1 Platform: Arch Linux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: matthieu_gall...@yahoo.fr Reporter: tekkiti...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 170743 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=170743&action=edit Screenshot of Elisa using the Breeze Dark theme, displaying both affected elements described in report *** If you're not sure this is actually a bug, instead post about it at https://discuss.kde.org If you're reporting a crash, attach a backtrace with debug symbols; see https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** SUMMARY When using dark color schemes (at least namely Breeze Dark), the Music Folders gui element in Configure will show a white box with white text, making configured music library paths harder or impossible to read without clicking on the entry or changing color scheme. Other GUI elements are affected, like an 'unsaved changes' warning prompt. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Use a "dark" color scheme, such as Breeze Dark or Krita dark 2. View your Music folders entries in the Configure page, or try to close the configure page after making an unsaved change to make the "You have unsaved changes. Do you..." prompt appear (possibly other examples exist) OBSERVED RESULT White text on a white or near-white background will be visible in sections of GUI elements, making it hard or impossible to read the text EXPECTED RESULT The text and/or background would be appropriately colored to allow the text to be easily readable SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Linux kernel 6.9.5-arch1-1 (64-bit) (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.3.0 Qt Version: 6.7.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION N/A -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
