            Bug ID: 487871
Summary: Cannot transfer images from the PC monitor to the TV
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: KScreen
           Version: 6.0.5
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: common
          Assignee: kscreen-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: yarik...@mail.ru
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
The computer is connected to the monitor via a DisplayPort cable and to the TV
via HDMI (TV model: MiTV-MSSP1). When attempting to switch the output from the
monitor to the TV, the monitor goes blank, but the TV continues to display a
"no signal" message. After this, the win+p key combination stops working, and
the only way to restore the image on the monitor is to unplug the HDMI cable
from the TV.

In the reverse situation, when trying to switch the image from the TV screen to
the monitor, no problems occur. The only way to display the image on the TV is:
1. Switch to image duplication mode.
2. Switch the output to the TV only.
3. Change the screen resolution back to 4K from 1080p.

KDE Plasma version: 6.0.5
KSE frameworks: 6.2.0
Qt: 6.7.1
Kernel: 6.9.2.1
Graphics platform: X11
Graphics card: RTX 3060 Ti

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect the computer to a 1080p monitor via DisplayPort and to a 4K TV via
HDMI.
2. Use hotkeys or screen settings to switch the display output from the monitor
to the TV.
3. There will be no image anywhere.

OBSERVED RESULT
no image output at all

EXPECTED RESULT
image output is transferred from monitor to TV

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: 11
macOS: no
Linux/KDE Plasma: manjaro
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.2.0
Qt Version: 6.7.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
It is worth noting that the PC has no issues displaying the image on the TV
after a reboot or after waking it from sleep mode. The problem only occurs when
you try to switch the image from the monitor to the TV, and it does not happen
when switching from the TV to the monitor.
