Hello! I'm reopening this ticket. This was supposed to be fixed with Plasma
6.0.5 and I'm now using it. It is indeed improved but unfortunately the same
behaviour as initially reported persists but now the panel will defloat with a
minimum tiling padding of 20px. Better than the previous 28px, yes, but still
not exactly fixed. So hoping this can be improved further in the near future. I
believe the goals should be:
- Allow the minimum tilling padding of 8px with a floating panel (consistent
padding);
- Allow setting a custom panel floating gap and that can also work consistently
alongside the set tilling gap
