Bug ID: 487361 Summary: Icon-only task manager starts up with empty space on the right Classification: Plasma Product: plasmashell Version: 6.0.4 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Task Manager and Icons-Only Task Manager Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: boite.pour.s...@gmail.com CC: qydwhotm...@gmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 Created attachment 169698 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=169698&action=edit Empty place shown on the icon only task manager upon startup SUMMARY Using icons only task manager as a substitute of Latte dock, doesn't work very well upon session login. It display an empty space on the right for an icon on login. If I enter edition mode, it resizes automatically to drop this useless space, but it's a pain to do so every time I log in. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create an icon-only task manager (I've set it to 64px high, but left all other options unchanged). I've centered on the bottom, hide automatically, fit to content. 2. Close edit mode 3. Remove all icons and pin the ones you need once you've launched the applications 4. Disconnect and reconnect. See picture attached OBSERVED RESULT See attachment EXPECTED RESULT The dock should fit the content SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.1.0 Qt Version: 6.7.0 Kernel Version: 6.5.13-7-MANJARO (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 16 × Intel® Core™ i7-10875H CPU @ 2.30GHz Memory: 31.1 Gio of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® UHD Graphics Manufacturer: Dell Inc.
