Upon logout XlibBackend destructor causes XDisplayCleanup::cleanup() to trigger
which simply calls XCloseDisplay() (in X11 library) to close the connection. 
But lower in the stack X11 gets _XIOError. I'm not sure why.

Like Christoph asked, are you in [X]Wayland session?
