--- Comment #1 from mh-firouzjah <mh.firouz...@gmail.com> ---
Issue Description:

When users enable the alternate calendar in the calendar plasmoid, a sub
label for the date appears everywhere in the applet except for the main date
shown on the desktop navbar. This inconsistency can be confusing for users who
wish to have the alternate calendar format reflected prominently on the
desktop.

Proposed Solution:

I propose adding an additional checkbox beside the existing option to
enable the alternate calendar. This new checkbox will allow users to select
which date format (Gregorian or alternate calendar) should be displayed as the
main date on the desktop navbar.

Steps to Reproduce:

    - Enable the alternate calendar in the calendar plasmoid settings.
    - Notice that the alternate calendar format is applied in sub labels within
the applet but not on the desktop navbar.

Expected Behavior:

After enabling the alternate calendar there is not way to select the
appropriate style of the date displayed on the desktop navbar. It should
reflect the chosen calendar format consistently with the rest of the applet.
