SUMMARY
When trying to record a screencast in an x11 session, the recording timer is
displayed in the interface and everything looks fine, but nothing is recorded.
Also in the settings, the drop-down menu for selecting the recording format is
empty. In the wayland session everything works as expected.
Also tested on a clean installation of Neon Testing.
