            Bug ID: 483753
Summary: Wrong active monitor refresh rate on mpv window spawn
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: kwin
           Version: 6.0.2
          Platform: openSUSE
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: multi-screen
          Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: cyrille.fi...@mailbox.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
I'm using a triple monitor setup with mismatched refresh rates: 60 Hz on the
sides (DP-1 and DP-2 outputs) and 144 Hz at the center (primary monitor, DP-3
output).

When I open a new mpv instance, the detected display refresh rate is mixed up
depending on the active screen.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open a new mpv instance
2. Display output information (SHIFT+I)

OBSERVED RESULT
The detected output is correct, but depending on the active monitor, the
refresh rate is mixed up:
- DP-1: 144 Hz instead of 60 Hz
- DP-2: 60 Hz (this is correct)
- DP-3: 60 Hz instead of 144 Hz

This causes video playback to be choppy. Dragging the window to another monitor
& back fixes the issue.

EXPECTED RESULT
The monitor refresh rate is correctly detected.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0
Qt Version: 6.6.2
Kernel Version: 6.7.9
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Mesa Version: 23.3.6

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I'm using an AMD GPU.
