This is not a priority. But it would be interesting to find if there is some
application that causes this problem.
I.g. recently I noticed that my persistent problems with power commands, were
caused by espanso: if I close (stop) espanso power commands, such as logout or
reboot, work still.
Maybe something also with ctrl+shift ?

More than 10 years ago I had a problem with shift key (no more working,
nowhere, write was very difficult): resolved deleting clementine (tha audio
player, yes) config: incredible but true.
