I suspect the overlay blocks the selection
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Plasma widget config dialog
2. Click About
3. Click GPL-2.0+
4. Select some text
5. Select some text again
OBSERVED RESULT
No text is selected
EXPECTED RESULT
Some text is selected
