Bug ID: 371681 Summary: Configuration with laptop lid closed is overwritten/lost when lid is opened Product: KScreen Version: 5.8.2 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: common Assignee: se...@kde.org Reporter: simg...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 101784 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=101784&action=edit Kscreen log Connect HDMI > Close the lid > Open the lid When I have an external HDMI monitor connected and I close the laptop the current kscreen configuration is renamed appending the suffix lidOpened and a new one with the same identifier is created. In this way I can configure the monitors in different way depending if the lid is open or not. The problem is that when I open the lid again the *_lidOpened config file is removed (probably renamed causing the overwrite of the other configuration) and only one config files remains, losing the configuration of the case when the lid is closed. Closing the lid indeed results in a wrong configuration of the screens. The attached kscreen.log incudes the following operations: Connect HDMI > Close the lid > Open the lid -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
