I was going to do this, but now I can't replicate it (Wayland). First time, when I tried to adjust panel width, something strange happened: if I adjusted the width on one side, it did not adjust automatically on the other (even though I had the planel centered). I had to log out and log in to fix it (Dodge Windows behaviour). Now this does not happen, and the adjustment is symmetrical. After that, Dodge Windows setting still works. I'm sorry about all this.
