I've been able to use it in the past without issue, but perhaps something in one of the dependencies for Kdenlive has changed. 2) Just experienced the lockup on Rendering twice - same file. 3) I'm using Nvidia proprietary drivers - latest RPMFusion RPMs 4) Info on one of the video files based on VLC: Video codec: H264 part 10 avc1 Frame rate: 29.9 1920x1080 resolution 5) I had to switch to the gstreamer backend instead of VLC backend in KDE and the video file doesn't play.
